Bespoke Song on Topic of Your Choice

Dörte & Rainer commissioned me to write “a song about old people in love” as you don’t hear about it enough in music. Couldn’t agree more, was chuffed to get out of my head and into someone else’s – especially for a lovely couple like Rainer and Dörte.

Sean Denny simply said he wanted a song about Whiskey Sour, the cocktail – after a little research I found out its origin lays in the old days of the British navy, fighting off scurvy with whiskey and limes.
