Kilkelly is a project based in Berlin by Irish songwriter, Conor Kilkelly, with collaborators from the UK, Canada, Ireland and Germany. The songs are a mangled mix of genres such as blues, folk and spoken word – with a splash of the macabre for good measure.

Famous Gold Watch Records
As of June, 2019, Kilkelly has joined a collective of independent musicians to help found Famous Gold Watch Records, Berlin. Acts such as Rufus Coates and Jess Smith, also part of Berlin’s thriving Dark Folk scene, have joined in an effort to work along side each other, promoting, marketing and collaborating – releasing their works under a new label, and under this new climate of music distribution, together.
In September, 2018, Kilkelly and band entered The Famous Gold Watch Studios in Berlin to make a totally independent, debut album, “The Prick and The Petal”. It will be a completely crowd-sourced project, to ensure the music remains as unspoiled and as close to the artistic vision as possible– free of corporate influence and populous pressures.
